What You Can Steal from Uber

How can you use Uber’s business model in your company and reposition equipment from a liability to a profit-generating asset?

Uber’s model is to enable its contractors to repurpose their cars from liabilities into a revenue producing assets.

Examples of the 'theft' of Uber's idea are:

  1. DoorDash, UberEats and other food delivery services are using Uber’s business model, but are moving food instead of people.

  2. Homeowners convert their garages to workshops and provide for-hire services to neighbors and townsfolk. Consultants to Fortune 100 firms work from spare bedrooms.

What do you think? Could you use these examples to create profit-generating lines of business from current liabilities for you and your customers?

What are you doing in this time of unprecedented change to remain successful? If you are trying to simply hold on until we get back to "normal," then you are failing to take advantage of opportunities to leap ahead of your competition.

If you want some ideas to dramatically improve your product strategy and commercialization, let’s talk.
